It’s not like we’re without precedent here. A seemingly innocent interview over on MTV has turned up the news that ageing rockers Mötley Crüe rummy nobel are possibly working on a dedicated version of Guitar Hero.
It’s buried near the end of an article about the Crüe, some American Idol contestant rummy royal and the band’s God-awful support lineup for their upcoming tour:
Aside from gearing up for the tour, the band is also working on side projects, a new album and a possible Mötley Crüe-inspired edition of “Guitar Hero.”
Like we said, it’s not like this hasn’t happened before. Aerosmith and Metallica have already done the deed, while Van Halen are heavily, heavily suggested to be Yono all app doing likewise.

If this does end up coming together, then, does the world really need two specific Guitar Hero games for 80’s hair metal bands? I mean, there’s exploiting a franchise, and then there’s taking the piss.
